Just to clarify, the appointment was not booked as a solar fault-finding service. The original quoted scope of work ($398.42) was to investigate high power bills, which included a switchboard inspection, testing of household appliances, and assessing other electrical loads throughout the home.

On the day, our electrician found that there were fewer appliances and circuits than initially expected, so the final invoice was reduced to $242.66 to accurately reflect the time spent on site. The checks carried out were in line with the agreed scope of works.

We appreciate your comments regarding our communication and the technician’s professionalism, and we’re sorry there was any misunderstanding around the purpose of the visit.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not reflect the high standards we are known for.

After reviewing your job notes, our technician found that your ducted system was not operating and identified the fan motor and main control board as likely causes. Both are common faults in older systems. Due to the unit’s age, we recommended a full system replacement rather than attempting repairs that could cause further issues or short-term fixes.
